Lucasfilm recently gave us a sneak peek at the first issue of Marvel's Star Wars: Thrawn, an adaptation of Timothy Zahn's novel of the same name. The pages revealed depict Thrawn's first encounter with the newly formed Galactic Empire, check them out below!
Having completed most of the Thrawn novel, I can say I am really excited to see how it translates into the comics. Adapting novels into comics is a great way to get stories out to a wider audience, especially if you don't have 17 hours to listen to the audiobook!
You can catch Thrawn in the final season of Star Wars: Rebels and dive into his origin story in the 6-issue mini series when Star Wars: Thrawn #1 drops into comic shops on February 7th, 2018.
